The FreezMon protects your food three ways!
It will alarm if:
- the power goes off (the breaker tripped).
- the freezer or refrigerator runs continiously (the door was left open).
- the freezer or refrigerator does not run (the freezer was unplugged).
We believe this will catch the most common reasons for your freezer to fail.
The FreezMon is easy to install.
- Unplug your freezer.
- Plug in the FreezMon in the outlet that was powering your freezer.
- Plug your freezer into the FreezMon.
- Start a learning cycle by holding the button for 6 seconds. The LED will flash and a lower pitch beep will be issued to indicate the new learining cycle has started.
- Frequently the power outlet is positioned behind the freezer. An optional magnet backed remote button is included with the FreezMon. Plug the wire from the switch into the FreezMon and position the magnet backed switch in a convenient position on your freezer.
